Priory Cottage is tucked away on a small side street in the heart of this wonderful medieval village, just a stone’s throw from Dunster Castle, St George’s Church and the Tithe Barn. It’s a deceptively spacious property that is set out over three levels.

Please note dogs are welcome at the property for £15 each per stay.

On the first floor is a double bedroom and bathroom, which is comprised of a corner bath (with hand held shower attachment), toilet and hand basin. Upstairs again is the second bedroom with two beds; one 4-foot bed and a day bed. There is an en-suite shower room on the second floor, with a shower cubicle, toilet and hand basin. From the bedroom window glimpses of the Castle can be seen and the Deer Park beyond.

There is a courtyard to the front of this charming cottage (which is not enclosed), a small table and chairs are provided. The property is in close proximity to the village church and enjoys the melodic chimes of the Church bells.

Guest access

The kitchen is fitted with an under-counter fridge (with freezer compartment), electric oven and hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, a variety of cookware, kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses. There is a washing machine tucked away under the stairs.
A television with Freeview is set up in the lounge area and wifi is available at no extra cost.
Other equipment include an iron and ironing board, and hairdryer.

Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation. Priory Cottage benefits from central heating, there is also a gas ‘wood-burner’ in the sitting room.

Bed linen, duvets and towels are provided for your convenience, but please bring your own beach towels if you wish to take towels with you on day trips.

Tea and coffee is provided. There may also be other non-perishable items like salt, pepper and oil available.
Cleaning materials such as washing up liquid and surface cleaner will be present in the property. One or two toilet rolls will be provided.

A small courtyard area is situated to the front of the property and a table and chairs is store inside. The courtyard area is not enclosed.

It is possible to park one car on the courtyard area in front of the property, but please note that the access is narrow. We suggest that you check out the access on foot before driving down to the front of the cottage in order to make your own assessment of the parking area. There is also free parking is on the roadside in St George’s Street or nearby Priory Green if you chose not to park in the space in front of the cottage. Please do not park in the lane in the front of the property.
