Dunster Steep car park is located on the south-eastern side of the A396 approximately 200 metres from its junction with the A39.
Parking charges start at 9am and end at 6pm daily (including public/bank holidays).
You can pay with either cash or now pay using a credit or debit card or via PayByPhone.

- Park Street Car Park, Dunster
Park Street is located at the south-eastern end of Dunster.
It is a relatively short street that it links through to a network of public footpaths.
Pedestrian access into Dunster or southeast towards the surrounding hills requires walking on the carriageway. There is some tourist information signage within the car park and Dunster Working Water mill can be accessed via a footpath adjacent to the car park entrance or Dunster Packhorse Bridge and onto Exmoor.

- Dunster Castle Car Park
National Trust members can park for free in the Dunster Castle car park, which is off the A39 before the turn-off for Dunster Village.
Parking: £5.50 all day, members free (please scan your card), motor home £11 (space dependent). Paybyphone facility for those without coins – location code 806775. Car park gates locked at 5pm daily. The car park is small and parking spaces are limited.
In poor weather we may suggest parking in the Dunster Steep village car park. Please check the Dunster Castle website before travelling. We cannot guarantee parking for all motorhomes. Strictly no caravans or trailers.
Sat Nav: 3 miles south-east of Minehead, off A39. Please use “Directions via Google Maps” or use postcode TA24 6NY and follow the brown signs onto the parkland driveway from the A39. There is no vehicular access from the village via Castle Hill.
