Dunster Tithe Barn

Dunster Tithe Barn dates back to being built during the 14th century, it has recently had a 5 year long restoration from 2002 until 2007. It has a cruciform structure plan and the east front has central double doors in heavy oak with a chamfered frame. It is a grade II listed building.

There is usually something going on every month with public events like craft or antiques fairs and is now home for the annual Exmoor Food Fair! Recently there have been more often events around every two weeks during Spring 2021 such as Delicious Dunster (an artisan food and drink fayre) and Yarn in the Barn (a stitching, wool and yarn craft experience.)

Then in the Festive Winter season they have Festive Flea; a vintage jumble of just about anything and Festive Fayre; Christmas food and gifts inspiration.

It is ideal to be hired for dinner, dances, parties and other celebrations like weddings corporate meetings, craft sales, antiques fairs and even art exhibitions. There is a separate carpeted meeting room with surround sound which would be available for hire for any type of meeting, children’s parties, table tennis and even a film club, they also have wireless broadband available too.
