Founded in 1986, Dunster by Candlelight is where the historic village rolls backs the years and lights its streets with lanterns and candles in the houses.

A procession walks through town to light lanterns while soldiers march through the village with flaming torches and drums over two nights.

The event also includes a firework display, stilt walkers, fire spinners, hog roast and live music. Traders and stalls also line the streets of Dunster so you can pick up some Christmas presents for your loved ones.

This year there will be a Victorian theme and visitors are encouraged to dress up with a prize for the best costume.
